Aegina island

Aegina is located in the center of the Saronic Gulf, surrounded by Agistri, Salamina, Methana, Troezen, Poros and Piraeus. The key location between the Peloponnese and Attica, made it very early and important commercial hub, Today, this position has made it a growing city suburb of Piraeus and Athens and popular resort. The island covers an area of 87,410 acres and has a great variety of geomorphological dry climate and mountain pine.

Agia Marina

Agia Marina is a popular summer resort for both Greek and foreign tourists. The bay, dominated by the Temple of Aphaia, is surrounded by a pine-tree forest and is frequently crowded with cruisers and yachts. There is a beautiful sandy beach with crystal waters ideal for families with small children or people who enjoy water –sports. In addition, there are smaller quieter beaches, where you can enjoy the sun and the sea. The village of Agia Marina is crowded with restaurants, bars, mini – markets and souvenir shops. There are also two discotheques. There is frequent bus connection between Agia Marina and the Town of Aegina.
